Honey Jalapeño Chicken Thighs

Hi there, 

I posted on my Instagram page( @sincerely_celine_blog )a vote whether or not to post  a recipe for Honey Jalapeño Chicken Thighs; and you voted, YES! 

So here it is, a new favourite in our house and I hope it is a favourite in yours as well. 

So, here it is 

Honey Jalapeno Chicken Thighs:

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2 TBS of pickled jalapeño peppers, minced ( diced very small)

  • 2 TSP minced Garlic (diced very small) 

  • 1 tablespoon dried cilantro (rub the cilantro between fingers before adding to mixture) 

  • 1 teaspoons himalayan salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • approximately 9 Chicken Thighs (bone in, skin on)  

Pre-heat oven(cooker) to 225 degrees C / 437 degrees F. 

Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl/cup. 

In a baking dish, line with parchment paper and place chicken thighs. 

Pour mixture evenly over the chicken thighs. Let sit for 10 minutes. 

Turn over chicken thighs and spoon extra sauce in the dish to cover the thighs. let sit for 10 minutes. 

Turn chicken tights back to skin facing upward and redistribute as much sauce as you can over the thighs. Let sit for 10 minutes. 

Then place the thighs in the oven for 30 minutes.
